Caitlin Barnes

Caitlin was born and raised in Atlanta before studying Scenic Design at the College of Charleston.

In America, she worked for The Weather Channel, Bank of America, and Plan 365, as well as a stint as assistant director for Burning Coal Theatre where she met her (British) husband during their production of Enron. Since relocating to the UK in 2013, she has managed sales and operations for digital marketing, veterinary pharmaceutical and wealth management firms. But her heart and soul have been pulling her back towards theatre, and she’s thrilled to be part of the team at Kenny Wax Productions.

Her desert island song from a musical is: ‘Answer Me’ from The Band's Visit. It’s a song about love and lost connections that always makes her cry, whilst simultaneously being filled with immense hope - exactly what’s needed when stranded…and, waiting…
